Mek Consultants is an independent Lao registered company, established in 1989, which is providing local consultancy services with its head office based in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

 

Mek Consultants’ services range from, but not limited to:

The scope of services of Mek Consultants concerns advisory and engineering services related to all elements in the project cycle (study, design, engineering, supervision, operation and maintenance, training and institutional development). At present, the firm has about 42 staff members in various areas of expertise. In addition, Mek Consultants can, subject to the prevailing workload, rely on the services of national and international specialists based in Lao PDR.

 

Mek Consultants started off as an engineering consultancy firm. Right from the start of its existence it was contracted to assist with the civil engineering aspects of a variety of water related and rural development projects. In many of these projects however, Mek Consultants was also requested to carry out non-engineering consultancy.
