Project’s requirement comprise the
detailed investigation, engineering design for houses,
offices, vehicle parking, storage, generator house,
access road, water supply and water tank, drainage
system, electric city network, preparation of tender
documents, bid evaluation, and construction supervision.
Our services included the topographic
survey, geo-tech investigation, detailed engineering
design for houses, office, parking area, storage,
generator’s house, access road, water supply with water
tank, drainage system and electricity network,
preparation of bill of quantities, tender documents and
evaluation on the bidding for the contractor, and
construction supervision.

a) During
construction supervision the consultant will be also
responsible for the field management as herein
after:
b) Approve
and monitor the Contractor’s construction program
and method statements, and verify that they are
consistent with the implementation schedule of the
project,
c) Giving
instruction to the Contractor with the existing
survey data and monitor the Contractor’s
mobilization and setting-out of the works.
d) Assist
the Contractor with the identification of material
sources and approve all materials for inclusion in
the works,
e) Plan
and execute the construction supervision and
contract administration. The supervision of the
construction will be done according to the standards
of the MCTPC and the project technical
specifications given.
f) The supervision will includes of: 1.) effective and
permanent supervision of the works, by a Team
Leader/Supervisor Engineer will visit the site 7
days per month and a Field Engineer who will be
fully on site. They will maintenance of construction
and project records, correspondence and diaries,
quality control testing to ensure that the works are
executed in accordance with the contract.
g) Regularly
inspect the Contractor’s construction equipment,
installations, housing, etc., and ensure that they
are adequate and in accordance with the terms and
conditions specified in the contract.
h) Co-certify,
jointly with the concerned parties(nominated
engineer), payments for works against relevant bills
of quantities, and issue interim payment
certificates, the final payment certificate, and
other certificates, including the Taking Over
Certificate, as required under the works contract.
i)
Evaluate
claims, disputes, extensions of time and the like,
including issuing variation orders as appropriate,
in line with the limits placed on the Engineers’
authority, as well as advising the Contracting
Authority on all matters relating to the execution
of the works.
j) Issue
decisions / instructions as appropriate under the
contract, jointly with the Client, nominated
engineer.
k) Provide
timely assistance to the Contractor in all matters
related to the interpretation of the contract
documents, planning, quality control testing and
other matters relating to the execution of the
works.

The project includes reconstruction
of existing facilities to accommodate another floor on
top of the existing building, fitting out, furniture and
furnishings, special services and information technology
requirements. (Office space of about 100 m2 to be
added).
Mek Consultant shall provide a
comprehensive A&E design plan using the information
guidelines and information of the design brief in
conjunction with the construction fitting out
manual/guidelines from the Landlord of LRM building. The
Consultant is required to implement this A&E proposed
design at the site, comer of Lanexang Avenue and
Samsenthai Road. This project has to be undertaken from
the planning stage to the final occupancy of the office
by ADB including the follow up on defects punch list and
final payments after the defects liability period.
Our services include the evaluation
of the existing spaces particularly on the structural
work in restoring the overall integrity of the structure
even to earth tremors prevalent in the area, and related
architectural finishes that form an integral part of the
building shell space. Additionally, Mek Consultants
provide services related to the A&E matters involved in
the project implementation which involves the design,
preliminary and final sketch plans, construction
documentation, bid processing and award of contract,
observation of work, commissioning of the new office
space and work in the defects and liability period.
Mek provide services for cost
estimating, cost planning, cost control and monitoring,
claims auditing/certification and cost aspects
associated with contract administration.
