Mek Consultants Co., Ltd. has carried out the following major Projects:

Client: Financing agency Ministry of Communication Transport Post and Construction (MCTPC)	Vientiane Integrated Urban Development Project, Vientiane Municipality. November 1993 to June 1994 Project’s requirements comprise the improvement of city land use, road and drainage networks, and traffic control system. Our services included the socio-economic and land use survey, inventory of the existing city roads and drains, preliminary designs and cost estimate of shelters and houses for improvement of slums.
Client: Financing agency Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID).	Huay Sone - Huay Sua Integrated Village Development Project, Vientiane Municipality. September 1999 to June 2001 Project’s requirements comprise the community development, training and HRD, integrated agricultural development, water resource development, natural resource management, and project resource management. Our services included the topographic survey, geological investigation, aerial photo interpretation, GIS, land use planning for watershed management, engineering design, preparation of bill of quantities, construction supervision of irrigation systems and domestic water supply networks, community development, formation of village revolving fund committees (rural credits), producers groups, water user groups, spring user groups, bore well user groups, shallow well user groups and training, livestock and veterinary development, crop trials, demonstration and agricultural extension, management of information system (MIS), and project resource management.
Client: Financing agency BTC – LAO/01/004	Village Development Programme in Savannakhet Province. April 2005 to May 2005 The project’s requirements comprise to conducting water pump test scheme in Nong district capital. Our services are to drill about 6 new boreholes in the district capital. 2 or 3 of them had a good yield after drilling (estimated at about 21/sec). The boreholes were drilled between 50 to 60 meters deep and provided with PVC casing of 150mm.
Client: Financing agency Department of Communication Transport Post and Construction, Phongsaly Province. (Cr. IDA Credit No.3131 LA.)	Provincial Infrastructure Project (Phongsaly & Oudomxay ) Urban Water Supply Component/MuangKhoua Sub-Component. 05 November 2005 to 30 December 2006 The project was consisted of the services for the Improvement of the water supply system in Muang Khoua Town and Feasibility study of options for improving the water supply in Phongsaly Town. Comprises Feasibility study, engineering survey/ detail design for the water supply in Phongsaly Town including preparation of tender documents, bid evaluation, final report and construction supervision.
Client: GRET, “Groupe de Recherches et d’Echanges Technologiques. Contract No. DW-MF-190207	MIREP Programme in Lao PDR, Design a Small Piped Water System Meuang Feuang District, Vientiane Province. 19 February 2007 to 03 April 2007 Out line Technical options definition, design sizes the hydraulic facilities and technical drawing. These works also included topographic survey, field data collection, cost estimation and general details layout Plan. The Services included of Feasibility Study, definition of the best technical options, survey and design works, preparing BoQ and Technical Reports of the Small Drinking Piped Water System of Meuang Feuang, Vientiane Province.
Client: World Vision Lao Bolikhamxay Province. No. L31-179668.	Pakkading Water Supply and Sanitation Project, 14 Target Village of Pakkading District, Bolikhamxay Province. 22 February 2007 to 05 September 2007 Hand dug well drilling and Equipment’s installation, including chemical and mineral contamination testing. Comprises the detailed investigation, Engineering/ Supervised of the Well Drilling and Construction 52 bore holes in 14 Target villages, including of Water Quality Test.
Client: Financing agency Department of Communication Transport Post and Construction of Sayaboury Province	Lao Airports Improvement Project, Sayaboury Province. May 1997 to November 1997 Project’s requirements comprise the widening and paving by using DBST for runway and parking area. Our services included construction supervision, survey check, quality control and certification for the payment.
Client: Financing agency Ministry of Agriculture Forestry/IDA	Lao Upland Agricultural Development Project. January 1993 to December 1994 Project’s requirements comprise the development of feeder roads, irrigation schemes and agricultural extension in upland regions in five provinces. Our services included the construction supervision of feeder roads in Vientiane and two southern provinces, operation and maintenance of pumping irrigation schemes, establishment and strengthening of water user groups, development of water management principles and practice based upon users’ orientation, improvement of irrigated crop production and strengthening of agency in charge of the project for replication in the future.
